New England Business Immigration Summit To Feature Sens.  Markey and King, Harvard President Bacow 

Business leaders, advocates and University Presidents from Harvard and Colby College will also address summit to advance federal immigration reform in 2021

BOSTON, MA — Sens. Ed Markey (D-MA) and Angus King (I-ME) and Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Harvard University President Lawrence Bacow, Colby College President David Greene, Tyson Foods Vice President David Barber, Exelon Chairman Emeritus John Rowe, and Alnylam Pharmaceuticals President Yvonne Greenstreet will join over 200 business leaders, CEOs, University Presidents, Dreamers, Essential Workers, and advocates to advance sensible immigration solutions in 2021 at the New England Business Immigration Summit on Friday, February 19 at 11:30 AM EST.

The summit aims to educate, engage and motivate a broad group of business, university and elected leaders in New England on the importance of passing commonsense federal and state immigration reform measures critical to our economic recovery. This includes high and low-skilled visas, agricultural visas and a path to legalization and citizenship for the 11 million undocumented workers, starting with Dreamers,TPS holders and essential workers.

The summit is co-hosted by the Maine Business Immigration Coalition (MeBIC), the Massachusetts Business Immigration Coalition (MBIC), the American Business Immigration Coalition, Presidents’ Alliance on Higher Education & Immigration, New England Council, Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA), AILA New England and the EOS Foundation
