Please join Congressman Vicente Gonzalez, Dr. Guy Bailey, IBC Bank and others from the Texas Business Immigration Coalition and the Texas Business Leadership Council for an interactive roundtable discussion addressing federal immigration solutions for Dreamers.. This roundtable discussion will focus on what business, higher-education, and civic leaders can do to support sensible immigration solutions for these workers.
Over 14,420 Dreamers live in the McAllen metro region and contribute $39.8M in federal, state, and local taxes. Collectively, they possess $142.2M in spending power. Practical legislation offering a path to legal status for these individuals is both critical to maintaining our region’s competitiveness and the right thing to do.
