Dallas, TX — Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) is the latest high-ranking elected official to participate in the Reigniting the Economic Engine: Immigration Solutions for 2021 summit, which aims to kickstart negotiations in Congress around immigration.
The virtual event will take place on Thursday, December 3 at 11 a.m. EST and is organized by the American Business Immigration Coalition (ABIC), which promotes commonsense immigration reform that advances economic competitiveness, provides companies with both the high-skilled and low-skilled talent they need, and allows the integration of immigrants into our economy as consumers, workers, entrepreneurs, and citizens. Sen. Collins (R-ME) will join Sens. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and John Cornyn (R-TX) along with a bipartisan group of elected officials that include Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC), Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), as well as U.S. Representatives Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) and Will Hurd (R-TX).
