Together, we will advance sensible immigration reform that secures the border, strengthens the economy and benefits all American families.

Politicians have been talking about fixing our immigration system for more than 30 years, but they haven’t really done anything about it. While lawmakers dither, the nation’s farmers, ranchers and dairy producers have faced massive labor shortages for years, and our industry is hurting.

Immigrants play an essential role in strengthening our workforce and contributing to our success. ABIC urges policymakers to prioritize common-sense, bipartisan solutions that secure our borders and fix our broken immigration system. We must provide a permanent legal status for our hardworking Dreamers, ensuring they can continue to the future of our nation.

To preserve America's position as the global leader in innovation, the U.S. immigration system must be reformed to attract and retain top talent. This requires enacting policies that address the ongoing labor shortage while providing stability and clarity for businesses, workers, and their families. Such reforms will ensure that the U.S. remains competitive, prosperous, and capable of meeting the demands of the future.

About Us

ABIC is a bipartisan coalition of over 1,700 employers and CEOs from across the country to provide a strong and unified voice seeking lasting immigration solutions. ABIC employers include agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, technology, and construction.

We believe: Immigration is essential for attracting the workers that our economy needs to grow and thrive. However, the current immigration system is deeply broken, threatening both U.S. economic competitiveness and national security. We must address this issue with urgency. ABIC supports bipartisan immigration reform that secures our borders, lowers inflation for everyday Americans, and legal pathways for immigrants who have contributed to the strength and prosperity of our nation with their sweat and taxes.

Our Mission

The American Business Immigration Coalition (ABIC) promotes common sense immigration reform that advances economic competitiveness, provides companies with the talent they need, and allows the integration of immigrants into our economy as consumers, workers, entrepreneurs, and citizens.
